Great Huts is an amazing off of the grid resort, with gorgeous views of the sea and mountains. Loved the decor and furniture made by local artisans. The staff was lovely and always accommodating. The chef prepares delicious gourmet meals that are a bit pricier than local restaurants but def worth treating yourself to one of his meals. Breakfast though is included with your stay. The location is perfect, not only does the resort have a private beach but there are several more beaches close by. Resort is also steps away from the Jerk Center where you can get tasty food at reasonable prices. However, recommend visiting GH website so as to be prepared. I neglected to bring sneakers as the resort is very natural and there are no paved walkways. Definitely need Jamaican currency in small denominations as local shops and restaurants only accept Jamaican dollars. Close to Reach Falls, Blue Lagoon and other natural attractions. I had the pleasure of meeting the designer and owner Dr. Paul who was very pleasant and accommodating as well and made sure I enjoyed my stay. The variety of plants, trees and colorful birds make you feel as if you're in a rain forest, I LOVED it! Will definitely return.
